16-year-old boy stabbed in Chippenham dies from injuries
A 15-year-old suspect remains in custody after a fatal stabbing on London Road, with police urging witnesses to provide CCTV or dashcam footage.
- On Saturday, a 16-year-old boy was found seriously injured on London Road, Chippenham just before 4pm and taken to hospital, Wiltshire Police said he later died from his injuries.
- Police arrested a 15-year-old boy shortly after the stabbing and he remains in custody as inquiries continue.
- Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Darren Ambrose said `This is a tragedy which has resulted in a young man losing his life.` The victim's next of kin have been informed and are supported by specialist officers.
