As part of its initiative to showcase live archaeological conservation to the public, the Egyptian-Japanese joint team at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) has completed the restoration and installation of 16 wooden floor planks from King Khufu’s Second Solar Boat. Reassembly work continues inside the dedicated Khufu Solar Boats Museum.
