Contact has been cut off with all ships in the Global Sumud Flotilla, which is heading towards Gaza. The number of Turkish activists detained by Israeli soldiers has risen to 37, and Greek citizen Takis Politis, who was on the ships, announced that he and some other activists have begun a hunger strike.
