Teen Girl Dies, Another Hospitalized After Being Hit by Truck in NYC

- Witnesses described a chaotic scene while police performed CPR for about 10 minutes. Tony Roman, 59, a doorman at O'Hanlon's Bar, said one victim appeared severely injured.
- Medics rushed both girls to Bellevue Hospital, where the 15-year-old died. The Citi Bike rental agreement requires riders to be at least 16 years old and mandates single-rider use.
- NYPD Highway Patrol is investigating the collision. Several residents told reporters the intersection is known to be dangerous, particularly when turning from 14th Street onto First Avenue.
