Accident on I-10 Heading West in Avondale Leaves a Fatal Victim

ARIZONE – A fatal accident this morning caused the closing of lanes west of Interstate 10 in Avondale, reported on Thursday by the Arizona Department of Transportation. The closing affected lanes westwards about mile 13, east of Fairway Drive. Authorities have not reported how many vehicles were involved, or the identity of the death victim. Lanes westward were reopened. Lanes in direction also operate normally.
