0.9 ha fire sparked west of 100 Mile House

A 0.9-hectare wildfire is being reported west of 100 Mile House. BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) is reporting that the blaze (C20243) is currently out-of-control. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Flames were first reported at about 2:32 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5. BCWS has assigned firefighters to the scene and stated, “suppression actions are being taken to limit the spread of this unwanted wildfire.”
